What this site collects

If you send a question through “Ask Valyn”, we keep the name, email or phone, and message you enter, plus the project you were looking at. If you sign up for alerts, we keep your email address, your language, and the area around the project you chose.

We do not ask for, or store, anything else about you. The map itself does not require an account.

How it is used

Your question is sent to Valyn Wang so she can reply to you.
Alert sign-ups are used only to email you about new projects in that area. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We never sell or rent your information.

Where the project data comes from

Projects on the map come from public building-permit and land-use records published by cities and counties. Records can be incomplete, delayed or changed by the issuing agency, so please check the official record before relying on it. Applicant and owner names are not shown.

Removing your information

To have your information deleted, reply to any email from us or contact Valyn Wang directly, and we will remove it.
